Other Tips to Help Stop Your Hands From Sweating While Playing Golf
In reality, you will not stop your hands from sweating, but you can control it. Here are my two simple tips.
2 Towels
When you head out in warm conditions, I suggest taking two towels. One towel should remain dry, and the other wet. After each hole, you wipe your hands with the wet cloth to cool your palms and fingers. Then, dry your hands with the other towel.
Consistently doing that every hole controls the build-up of sweat on your hands. As a result, it helps to maintain traction on your handle. If you drive a cart, you can keep an ice bucket on board and place the towel on ice. This cools your hands and reduces sweating.
Remove Glove Between Shots
I find that removing my glove after every shot limits the sweating of my hands. Although gloves contain breathable mesh material, nothing beats complete exposure to fresh air. Taking your glove off in between shots encourages airflow to cool your hands down and limit sweating.
Wearing your glove for every shot causes sweat to build up rapidly, leading to discomfort and a lack of traction.
